Blok Watches
A global DTC store for an analog watch brand featured in Forbes, WSJ and the NYT, built to carry that press-level polish.
Overview
Blok makes analog watches that teach kids and adults time-management. No screens, no distractions. The brand has serious press behind it (Forbes, Esquire, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Hodinkee), so the store had to look and behave like a brand that belongs in those pages.
The storefront handles two watch lines (BK33 and BK38), matching bundles, a strap shop with sized variants and quick-add, currency selection for 55+ countries, gift-with-purchase campaigns, a 10% first-order email capture, and editorial storytelling sections that give the product philosophy room to breathe.
Scope of work
- Shopify theme development with editorial, campaign-driven sections
- Product architecture: watches, bundles, straps and accessories
- Sized-variant and quick-add logic for the strap shop
- Multi-currency setup for 55+ countries
- Promotional mechanics: gift-with-purchase and first-order discount capture
- Press bar and social-proof integration across the buying journey
- Newsletter capture and post-purchase email flows
Outcome
A store with the confidence of the press coverage behind it. Editorial where it should be, frictionless where it counts.
